About the Role
As our CRO Manager, you will own conversion optimization across our DTC e-commerce funnels, identifying and executing high-impact opportunities that improve conversion, average order value, customer value, and overall business performance.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced direct-response e-commerce operator who understands the full funnel from landing page through checkout and post-purchase. You’ll work closely with Copywriting, Creative, and Development teams to turn new angles and hypotheses into live experiences, using customer behavior and performance data to find and scale meaningful wins.
What you’ll achieve
- Own the CRO strategy and experimentation roadmap across multiple DTC e-commerce brands, prioritizing opportunities based on potential business impact.
- Take new creative and copy angles and turn them into complete funnel experiences, owning projects from initial hypothesis through build, launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Analyze funnels continuously using heatmaps, session recordings, customer behavior, and performance data to identify friction, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute high-impact experiments designed to improve key metrics including CVR, AOV, and customer value, focusing on meaningful hypotheses rather than incremental micro-tests.
- Own optimization across the full customer journey, including landing pages, sales pages, checkout experiences, upsells, and post-purchase offers.
- Build and optimize long-form direct-response experiences, including written sales pages, VSL-driven funnels, and post-purchase offers.
- Work closely with Copywriters, Creative teams, and Developers to translate hypotheses into high-quality live experiences quickly and accurately.
- Use experiment results and customer behavior to identify winning patterns and scalable learnings, applying successful approaches across brands and funnels where relevant.
- Use AI as part of your daily workflow to accelerate analysis, research, experimentation, project execution, and decision-making.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Proven hands-on experience owning CRO and funnel optimization within high-growth DTC e-commerce, with a strong understanding of direct-response marketing.
- Deep hands-on experience with CheckoutChamp, including building, managing, testing, and optimizing direct-response funnels.
- Strong experience across the full conversion funnel, including landing pages, sales pages, checkout, upsells, and long-form post-purchase experiences.
- Experience building and optimizing long-form sales pages and VSL-driven funnels, with a strong understanding of direct-response customer journeys.
- Strong analytical and experimentation skills, with the ability to turn behavioral and performance data into high-impact hypotheses and measurable business improvements.
- Experience working with scaled direct-response supplements, skincare, health, wellness, or similar DTC brands is highly valuable.
- Strong cross-functional execution skills, with experience partnering closely with Copywriting, Creative, and Development teams to move projects from idea to launch.
- A highly autonomous, commercially minded, and tech-savvy approach, with the ability to prioritize high-leverage opportunities, build effective workflows, and drive projects forward without requiring detailed direction.
